elcome to the Center for Health Systems Research and Analysis (CHSRA) electronic submission and report generation internet site (ePIP). The purpose of this site is for facilities that are members of the Provider Initiative Project (PIP) to submit Minimum Data Set (MDS) data electronically to CHSRA for analysis and to view, print or download Quality Indicator/Quality Measure (QI/QM) reports based on the data submitted.

ePIP Features
New Quality Indicator/Quality Measure (QI/QM) reports Quality Indicator/Quality Measure Graphs The Individual QI/QM Series report allows you to view all residents who flagged on a particular QI/QM Electronic submission of data (eliminating the need to send MDS data on diskette) Compile and view QI/QM reports immediately following a data submission Create reports tailored to your individual needs Choose comparison groups and dates for each report Create your own Report Sets consisting of the reports you choose The ability to subdivide your facility based on room number or resident name for reporting purposes A great deal of Quality Indicator related information at your finger tips Here are some important features of this website which will help you to navigate within the site and make the most of its features: The area in blue which extends across the top of the page and down the left side will appear on every page of the website. This header contains information and links to help you navigate through the website. On the left side you will see a series of buttons. These are the 'Action Buttons.' They will link you to important pages within the site. There are also informational links across the top that will link you to additional informational pages. There is a darker blue section at the top of the page with is labeled "Recent Activity Monitor" this is a very useful area of your screen; it provides you with current information about recent submissions and reports that have been run. After you submit a request for reports this Recent Activity Monitor will remain in an 'updating' mode until your reports are ready to view, allowing you to surf the rest of the site while still tracking the status of your reports. In the gray Quick Links box above, there are quick links which will take you right to the submission page or the Report Center whenever you are ready.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITY

This link shows the contact information that the facility has provided to CHSRA. This information can be updated right from this link.

SUBMIT DATA

This website allows the user to securely transmit MDS data electronically to CHSRA for immediate analysis and reports. The user simply clicks this link, selects the file to submit and sends their MDS data directly to CHSRA for immediate analysis. Whenever the user decides to submit data to CHSRA the site is ready to accommodate them.

REPORT CENTER

The report center is the place to start for all report related features of ePIP. There is a great deal of flexibility to the report selections, parameters and comparison groups that the user may choose. Here the user can:

Run the predefined CHSRA Standard Report Set with the simple click of a button.
Set up new Report Sets with any collection of reports and parameters and save these Report Sets to run whenever they choose.
Run individual report(s).
And an exciting new feature of ePIP is the ability to subdivide a facility into classifications for reporting purposes. The user can create classifications based on the MDS room number or resident name fields and then generate reports for specific groups or subgroups of the facility.

ePIP provides all the standard reports available from your state agencies as well as many new and exciting graphs and reports. Click here to view samples of many of the reports available to members of ePIP.

LOG OUT

QUALITY CENTER

This link contains a comprehensive array of Quality information. It provides PIP members with the Specific QI Guides, Clinical Links Table, The Peer Facts newsletter, QI/QM Definitions, and other quality information as it becomes available.
