CHSRA researchers are nationally recognized experts in managing and analyzing large sensitive operational databases. We are experienced and capable managers of large data computing platforms that allow our staff to offer professional, ‘big data’ quantitative analyses across a wide-range of healthcare settings. CHSRA researchers are skilled project and fiscal managers, overseeing the entire research life cycle of: conceptualization, research design, data collection & management, statistical analysis, reporting and feedback.

  • Wisconsin CRC ScoreCard In Phase I of this initiative, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) engaged the University of Wisconsin Center for Health Systems Research and Analysis (CHSRA), with input from the nursing home associations and other long term care stakeholders, to produce a nursing home quality performance measurement system tested for credibility and ready for statewide implementation.

  • Analytic and Research Support for Monitoring Quality of Care (OIG) The purpose of this project is to assist the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the Department of Health and Human Services to identify nursing home chains to be monitored for quality under a corporate integrity agreement (CIA) with the OIG.
  • Crash Outcome Data Evaluation System (CODES) The Crash Outcome Data Evaluation System (CODES) is a collaborative approach to obtain medical and financial outcome information related to motor vehicle crashes for highway safety and injury control decision making.
